YouTube enacted a policy requiring all creators to explicitly designate whether their videos are made for kids in accordance to Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). This YouTube policy also required that third-party vendors remove any behavioral or sensitive data attached to these designated videos.
Tubular actively ensures compliance with our platform partners and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). In order to be compliant with regulations on “Made for Kids” designated content, features in our platform will be impacted for some channels and videos that are largely designated “Made for Kids” (see below):

- Many Tubular features will not be impacted by COPPA regulation, including:
