Tubular reports on significant changes to Creators’ Followers/Subscribers. Subscriber counts are abbreviated to three significant digits for subscriber counts greater than 1,000 subscribers.
For example, a channel with 123,456,789 subscribers will return 123,000,000. Any exports will show the numbers as per the above table, with 0’s replacing digits beyond 3 significant digits.
| Example | Data Provided |
| 123 | 123 |
| 1,234 | 1,230 |
| 12,345 | 12,300 |
| 123,456 | 123,000 |
| 1,234,567 | 1,230,000 |
| 12,345,678 | 12,300,000 |
| 123,456,789 | 123,000,000 |
Daily Subscriber growth in a Creator Profile would show 0 daily change until the day the Subscriber count crosses the next digit (e.g., will only reflect a change from 12,300,000 when it hits 12,400,000). This would be most obvious for the largest Creators since it potentially takes longer for them to cross the next digit. Note that a 1% growth will increase the third significant digit regardless of base subscriber count, and usually it takes even less than 1% growth for the digit to change.
Prior to October 2019, some creators may return negative subscriber growth for the most recent month. This is due to platforms rounding down a Creator’s subscribers. While this issue was resolved, you may still find data prior to October 2019 reflecting this.
