Tubular is the world’s largest social video database, but there are of course limits to what we can collect. To qualify for availability in our Video Intelligence product, videos must meet the following criteria...
Views Threshold:
- For creator accounts not currently measured in Tubular, videos from these accounts must have greater than 100 views. While our system stores every video that it finds, we only index (make searchable) videos that have above 100 views by creator accounts not yet indexed in our platform. This view count threshold does not apply for videos by Creators indexed by Tubular (see our related FAQ article for qualifications for Tubular to measure a given Creator).
- Due to technicalities of TikTok’s platform, a given creator account on TikTok may need to meet Tubular's Creator Profile indexing criteria for its videos to be indexed in Tubular.
Collection Limitations:
- Video cannot be geo-gated
- Video cannot be set to private/delisted
- TikTok carousels are static image posts and will not be indexed in Tubular (read more here)
Upload Recency:
- Tubular will index newly published videos for most platforms within 12-24 hours, but this process can take up to 48 Hours after publish time in some cases.
- Newly published TikTok videos will be added to Tubular approximately every other day for (a) Creators with 1M+ followers or 10M+ monthly views across their social media presence, (b) Creator profiles owned and operated by Tubular clients, as well as (c) Creators categorized as either Brands or Media. New TikTok videos by all other Creators should be added to Tubular approximately once every week.
If you believe your video should appear in Tubular Labs after reviewing the above guidelines and thresholds, contact us with the URL of the video(s) in question — we're happy to help.
